What should I wear?

Construction

  • Dress with safety in mind: Loose clothing can be dangerous when using power tools. Sturdy closed toed shoes are required, such as work boots or tennis shoes.
  • Keep an eye on the weather: Dress layered as weather conditions and job assignments may vary throughout the day.
  • Plan to get dirty! Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or stained.

ReStore

  • Dress comfortably and keep the weather in mind! Some ReStore tasks require volunteers to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally we ask ReStore volunteer groups to take on special projects that involve painting. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
