Our Vision for Faith Build
Loveland Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, Christian based housing ministry that displays the love and care of Jesus Christ through our work in the community.
Our mission: “Seeking to put God’s love into action, Loveland Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.”
Our partnership with the Faith-Based Community stems from shared commitments to faith, community and family that are common to all faiths and denominations. We are here to serve by working side by side so we can better serve those in Loveland in need of affordable housing.
We would like to learn more about your mission and how we can work together to support affordable housing in Loveland.

Faith Groups in Loveland Coming Together to Build Community
Faith communities throughout Loveland are rallying together to build homes for Habitat families. Small or large groups of any religion or denomination can contribute their time and resources to partner with us to provide strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. There are many ways to help, and they are not all swinging hammers!
Looking to get involved?
If you are looking to be a little more hands on, we are always in need of volunteers at the construction site and volunteers and donations at the ReStore. Even a small action can create a big impact towards providing safe, affordable homes to those who need it most in our community.

Kimberly’s Journey to a Safe, Accessible Home
Kimberly is the Youth Advocacy Specialist with The Arc of Larimer County, an advocacy organization that protects the civil rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). She felt a calling to help families navigate the education system, give them a voice, and bring them hope when they feel helpless.
A Mother’s Daily Challenges
Kimberly is a mother of three teens with disabilities. Her two sons are on the Autism Spectrum, and her daughter is partially blind. Living on one income has made it difficult to find a safe, affordable home that fits her family’s needs.
Over the years, Kimberly and her children have lived in small duplexes and apartments. These spaces were affordable, but not ideal. Her sons need quiet areas to calm down and self-regulate when they feel anxious or experience sensory overload. Unfortunately, a small apartment offers little privacy or peace.
Walking helps her sons relax, but the family doesn’t feel safe walking in their neighborhood. For her daughter, poor lighting and steep stairs make it difficult to move around safely. These challenges add daily stress and make Kimberly long for a home designed for her family’s unique needs.
A Forever Home Through Habitat for Humanity
Moving into a Habitat for Humanity home in Loveland has changed everything. Kimberly’s new home provides safety, stability, and enough space for everyone. The boys now have quiet areas to unwind, and her daughter has proper lighting that makes it easier to navigate the house.
“The first thing Isabella asked was, ‘Can we get a dog?’ Ever since, the kids and I go to our house weekly to have lunch or dinner or just to visit and look around. It’s a blessing.”
Kimberly and her family received the keys to their home on January 28, 2023, marking the start of a new chapter filled with peace and hope.
