Seeking to put God’s love into action, Loveland Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Our shared vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent and affordable place to live in dignity and safety. All across America, individuals and families struggle to find affordable places to live. Habitat seeks to remedy this injustice by providing families with a hand-up, not a hand out, to own their home and pay an affordable mortgage.
Everyone is Welcome at Habitat
Founded in Americus, Georgia, USA, in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped build, renovate and repair more than 1 million homes for more than 5 million people around the world. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian housing ministry committed to giving hardworking, low-income people a hand up, not a hand out.
No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures.
Bringing Habitat to Loveland
Loveland Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1987 by a small group of forward thinking community and religious leaders. Through their common interest in making Loveland the best city that it could be, these visionaries recognized a growing need for safe and affordable homes for Loveland’s low income families. Since our founding, Loveland Habitat has completed over 160 new homes in Loveland.
We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and serve people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.
Building Empowerment
The primary goal of Loveland Habitat for Humanity is to build strength, stability and self-reliance for families through access to permanent shelter.
Habitat volunteers build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to the families with an affordable mortgage and no interest.
We empower families to own their own home, and have income available to invest in education, pursue opportunity, and have more financial stability.
