We are proud to be recognized alongside 3 other affiliates in Colorado as we work together to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
As Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) guides our worldwide mission to bring safe, decent, affordable housing to everyone, this program helps affiliates across the world stay tithed together. For more than 45 years, HFHI’s Tithe program has helped affiliates in the United States and some national affiliates to bring our mission to those that need support the most. By contributing to this global community, we are able to share our community’s great blessings and participate in one of the hallmarks of Habitat.
HFHI’s Tithe Program stems from our roots as an ecumenical Christian ministry. Affiliates tithe to HFHI by contributing 10% of their unrestricted revenue each year in support of Habitat’s global ministry. These blessings can support specific organizations or Habitat’s Global Mission Fund, the Orphans and Vulnerable Groups Fund, or the International Disasters Fund. By tithing, we build a cycle of generosity and partnerships with Habitat affiliates across the world.
