Hope Begins at Home: Building More Than Houses in Loveland

At Loveland Habitat for Humanity, we believe that a home is more than just four walls and a roof—it’s the beginning of a stronger, healthier, more stable life.

As we wrap up another year of service in our community, we’re reflecting on the impact that affordable housing has made here in Loveland—and inviting you to be part of the next chapter in that story.

The People Who Keep Loveland Running Deserve a Place to Call Home

You may not know it, but many of the people who make Loveland the vibrant community we all love are struggling to afford to live here.

We’re talking about the first responders who rush to emergencies, the teachers shaping young minds, the electricians and auto mechanics who keep our homes and vehicles running, the social workers supporting vulnerable populations, the restaurant managers and lab technicians who keep daily life going. Even bank tellers, who handle our financial lives with care, most of these essential workers are priced out of the very city they serve.

That’s where Loveland Habitat for Humanity steps in.

Through our homeownership program, we partner with income-qualified individuals and families to build safe, stable homes. Buyers pay a no-interest mortgage, complete financial education classes, and contribute hundreds of hours of sweat equity—literally helping build their future home.

178 Homes and Counting

Since our founding in 1987, Loveland Habitat for Humanity has built 178 homes. Each home is a product of community support, volunteer time, and the grit and determination of our partner homebuyers.

These homes represent more than just shelter. They represent stability for children, reduced stress for working parents, and the ability to build equity for the future. When people no longer have to worry about unpredictable rent increases or unsafe living conditions, they can finally begin to thrive.

Community Support Makes It Possible

It takes a village to build affordable housing. Our work wouldn’t be possible without generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and passionate community advocates who believe that everyone deserves a decent place to live.

This season, we’re inviting Lovelanders to join us in building more than houses—we’re building hope.
One of the most powerful ways you can support this work is by giving on Colorado Gives Day, a statewide movement that supports local nonprofits.
