Thank you for your interest in becoming a Loveland Habitat Homeowner!

Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed in the order received, subject to funding availability and program capacity.

Please stop by our Administrative Office, located at 108 W. 29th St., Unit D Loveland, CO to pick up an application or start the pre-screening process below.

Most classes are available in English and Spanish. New classes are being added, so be sure to keep an eye on this developing library of courses!

The Homebuyer Education Center is a collaboration between Habitat affiliates across the U.S. with free educational resources available to everyone, regardless of their involvement with Habitat for Humanity.

Step 1 - Requirements

Review to be sure you understand our program requirements.

- Live or work in Loveland for one year

- Have a need for housing

- Willing to partner

- Meet income guidelines

Step 2 - Visit the Homebuyer Education Center website

*This is not a requirement to apply.

The Homebuyer Education Center is a FREE resource with course about home buying, mortgages, Habitat programs, home maintenance, and more. Browse the courses to learn specifics of our Homeownership requirements. This resource is available to anyone, free of charge.

Step 3 - Application

Start the pre-screening application or if you prefer, you can pick up a paper copy application at our Admin office during business hours.

We will review your information to determine whether you meet the basic eligibility requirements. If you qualify, we will discuss the next steps in the process.

If you do not qualify at this time, we will explain why and talk through ways you may be able to qualify in the future.

Step 4 - Gather your documents

If you meet the basic requirements, we will schedule a meeting to review the financial documents and supporting information needed to complete your full application.

Step 5 - Application Review Process

Once all supporting documents have been received, your application will move into the interview stage. This includes an in-person housing needs assessment.

Step 6 - Pre-approval

If the interview process shows that you have the ability to pay, a willingness to partner, and a demonstrated housing need, you may be considered pre-approved for a mortgage loan and ready to begin your homeownership partnership with Loveland Habitat for Humanity.
