Seeking to put God’s love into action, Loveland Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Loveland Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit housing ministry that displays the care of Jesus Christ to people from all walks of life regardless of faith. We work with people in need of a hand up, while striving to make affordable housing a matter of conscience throughout the Loveland area and around the world.
We work to provide a hand up, not a handout. Habitat volunteers build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable housing. The houses are then sold to the families with an affordable mortgage and no interest.
To accomplish this, we raise money, recruit volunteers and work in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable housing. We believe that by working at a local level, we can better use our resources and make an immediate difference in people’s lives.
We empower families to own their own home, and have income available to invest in education, pursue opportunity, and have more financial stability.
We help families build strength, stability and self-reliance.
The primary goal of Loveland Habitat for Humanity is to build strength, stability and self-reliance for families through access to permanent shelter. We have three objectives toward this goal:
- Improve housing conditions by serving low income families through the construction of affordable housing to support community transformation.
- Increase shelter access and support market approaches that promote policies and systems that advance access to products, services and financing for adequate, affordable housing.
- Inspire local action to end poverty housing and serve as a leading voice in growing awareness of housing as a critical foundation for breaking the cycle of poverty.
To accomplish our goals, we need you! Please consider donating your time or money and help us build a stronger community in Loveland.
