This November, we want to highlight a gift-in-kind donor who has been an essential part of our volunteer hospitality program for 6 years, Domino’s. Since 2013, Domino’s has contributed over $7,500 worth of pizza to help fuel our hungry & hard-working volunteers! Then in 2017, Domino’s became Loveland Habitat’s official partner for sponsored build days. This partnership is a huge blessing to our organization. In 2019 alone, Domino’s has donated over $2,500 worth of pizza to help feed our volunteers during special events like our Women Build & Corporate Build events, sponsored build days, and others.
Brian Delgrosso, the owner of the Thompson Valley Towne Center Domino’s, says he supports Loveland Habitat for Humanity because “everything Loveland Habitat does goes back into helping others.” Brian is the owner of 12 Domino’s locations around Colorado, but also was one of our core construction volunteers at Loveland Habitat. Brian says that he would build on our construction site on Tuesdays and Thursdays and bring everyone pizza when he built. As a core volunteer, he loved working side-by-side with Habitat homeowners and then seeing the excitement in their eyes at their home dedication when they received their keys. Brian says, “homeownership is the key that sets Habitat homeowners on the path for financial success.”
As Brian’s business prospered and he became too busy to build on a regular basis, he wanted to find a way to stay involved with Loveland Habitat and becoming our partner for sponsored build days was the ticket. Domino’s pizza lunches are always a crowd favorite on the construction site. We are so grateful for Brian Delgrosso and the crew at the Thompson Valley Towne Center Domino’s. They always greet the hospitality team with a smile and hot pizza. Thank you Brian & Domino’s!
